Well above normal temperatures impacted the Kitsap Peninsula during the middle of May, with high temperatures each afternoon ranging from the upper 80s to low 90s.

Moderate snow fell across the Kitsap Peninsula late in the day on Feb 25 and continued through the morning hours on February 26th. In general, most snowfall reports ranged from 1 inch or less, but areas nearing the Hood Canal reported around 4 inches of snow.

Flooding to Port Orchard damaged some business/retail space. Hood Canal waters rose above Seabeck Highway with some minor flooding in Seabeck itself. Several homes were reported to have flooded with 30 inches of water on nearby roadway around Point No Point.
