This winter system brought heavy snow to Monroe County on March 19th. Snowfall totals ranged between 6 to 11 inches across the county with the highest reported total being 11.2 inches about 1 mile southwest of Tomah.

Dangerously cold wind chills began on the evening of the 20th and continued through noon on the 21st in Monroe County where values dropped to around 25 to 35 degrees below zero. The coldest observed wind chill in the county was 35 degrees below zero in Tomah, WI.

Snowfall amounts ranged between 5 to 8 inches across Monroe County as a result of this winter system. The highest storm total snow accumulation in the county occurred in Sparta where 7.5 was measured.
