A peak wind gust of 66 mph was measured by the Greenville Mid-Delta Airport ASOS site KGLH.

Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms developed across portions of Mississippi during the afternoon of May 25th before a west-east oriented squall line developed and spread southward overnight. Another squall line moved through on the 26th as a cold front moved east. Storms produced wind damage and hail.
