This QLCS tornado was very brief with EF-0 damage confined to one field and a shelterbelt. The sunflowers were flattened in a very short concentric and convergent path. Time estimated from KMVX radar. TDS observed on radar. Max wind speed estimated at 75 mph.

Wider weather episode

A QLCS type mesoscale convective system brought widespread severe thunderstorm winds to eastern ND, along with, multiple brief tornadoes during the early morning hours.
