Storm totals of 2 to 5 inches were reported across the lower elevations near Franklin. A measured report of 2.8 inches from the public. Winds also gusted to near 50 mph with one measured report of 52 mph near Buist.

The Treasureton Fore was started bu farm equipment on August 15th at about 3:30 pm MDT about 13 miles north of Preston near Treasureton . It grew to 363 acres in rugged terrain covered by grass, brush and juniper. No structures were threatened and it was contained on August 16th.
