Emergency management reported multiple swift water rescues overnight in Temple including one that resulted in a fatality after a woman's vehicle was swept off the road at a low water crossing at Pepper Creek.
A couple died in an early morning house fire that fire investigators determined was started by lightning.
A two-year old girl was found inside a vehicle during the afternoon hours of July 10. Attempts to resuscitate her were unsuccessful and she was pronounced dead at Baylor Scott and White Memorial Hospital.
Heavy rainfall in remnant bands from TD Bill resulted in flooding in Nolanville. An 11 year old boy was swept into a drainage culvert near Avenue H and 10th Street after losing his footing when approaching whirling high waters in the culvert. He passed away on the 18th.
Heavy rainfall in remnant bands from TD Bill resulted in flooding in the Holland area. The local newspaper reported streets were impassable and some homes flooded. Also flooded was city hall, the police station, the fire department and a recording studio.
Icy roads resulted in a vehicle crash that killed a girl along I-35 near mile marker 279 south of Salado. Several icy bridges were reported across the county and at least 55 vehicle wrecks were reported. Some bridges around Temple and Killeen were closed due to icing.

A homeowner reported multiple trees uprooted and others snapped on his property north of Stillhouse Hollow Lake. Large limbs fell on the roof of the home, and other lightweight outdoor items were moved around. Damage to outbuildings in this area was also reported.
