Severe drought developed on June 11th over the southern half of Refugio, this was short-lived as Tropical Storm Alberto brought 4-7 of rainfall in the area and improved drought conditions to none.

Wind chill values fell to below 20 degrees as temperatures fell to the lower 20s and strong north winds persisted. Wind chill values fell as low as 9 degrees on the morning of the 16th.
