A long stretch of little to no rainfall led to severe drought over portions of southwestern Refugio County. Precipitation improved conditions to moderate drought and abnormally dry across most of the area by the middle of the month.

A long stretch of little to no rainfall led to severe drought over a small sliver of southwestern Inland Refugio County.

Severe drought developed on June 11th over the southern half of Refugio, this was short-lived as Tropical Storm Alberto brought 4-7 of rainfall in the area and improved drought conditions to none.
