Strong west winds reported at Pecos.

Report of 5-6 inches of snow in and around Pecos.

Ice accumulation around 0.25 inch at the Interstate 10 and Interstate 20 split, which is 39 miles southwest of Pecos. Ice accumulation was only around one tenth of an inch in Pecos.

Two semis collided on the eastbound side of Interstate 20 about 13 miles west of Pecos due to icy roads. Traffic detoured to State Highway 17 since the Semi trucks were blocking east bound lanes.

The Reeves County S.O. reported 1/4 inch of ice accumulation from a mix of freezing rain, sleet and snow.

Strong wind gusts affected portions of West Texas as a large upper trough moved over the region.

A total of 4-5 inches of snowfall was estimated over eastern Reeves County.

The Reeves County Emergency Manager reported near zero mile visibility near Pecos, Texas. Vehicles were traveling very slow across the county.
