A wind gust of 60 mph was recorded at the I-15 at MP 139 Dog Valley Creek mesonet site.

The I-15 @ MP 169 mesonet station recorded a wind gust of 66 mph as a result of outflow winds associated with a nearby cluster of showers and thunderstorms moving through the area.

Heavy rain over the Clay Springs Fire burn scar caused significant debris flows out of both the Fool Creek and Oak Creek drainages. However, prior mitigation efforts in Oak City protected homes from damage and flooding.

Significant flash flooding was reported along Chalk Creek following a heavy thunderstorm. The dramatically increased flow damaged two campgrounds in the area, washed out one bridge, and knocked down several trees along the banks.

A debris flow occurred off of the Clay Springs Fire burn scar, with debris flowing out of the southwest aspect of the scar. Flood waters were as tall as four feet high as it ran toward US Route 50, but ran alongside the road rather than cross over it.
