Heavy rain in headwaters resulted in the development of a flood wave in the Dirty Devil, with the wave cresting at 604 cfs at The Dirty Devil at Poison Springs above Hanksville gauge.

Heavy rain in the head waters of the Dirty Devil resulted in the generation of a flood wave. The river gage on the Dirty Devil measured a rapid spike in flow from a no-flow state to a flow of 727 cfs over the course of 30 minutes.
