One of the observations sites in Thompson Pass recorded northeast winds around 30kts with gusts up to 33kts between 9 am and 3 pm on the 28th of November. This combined with temperatures -5 to -10 degrees below zero resulted in very cold wind chills of -40 to -42 degrees.
