Co-Op in Hyder measured 27.8 inches of snow in less the 24 hours the morning of the 29th and was still snowing moderately. The following day they measured 6.2 inches had fallen, for a 2 day total of 34 inches.

Hyder COOP measured 8.3 inches of snow at the 9 am report the following morning. Estimated that this fell in about 6 hours based on satellite, webcam and the Stewart B.C. observation.

Hyder got 7 inches of snow in six hours on the morning of 12/2. Another problem was that the wind increased to 40 mph. Impacts were snow removal due to drifting snow.

COOP in Hyder measured 12.5 inches of new snow for 12 hours ending at 1/14 at 1100. Additional snow fell 3 more inches by 1300 for a storm total 15.4 inches. Impact was snow removal especially because it started to rain on top of the new snow at 1300.

Hyder area got dumped on. Storm total from 12/25 to 0830 12/27 was 23 inches of new snow. The only impact was snow removal.

Heavy snow for Hyder. New 6 to 8 inches 0800 to 1900 Sunday. Storm total 0800 Saturday 12/17 to 1900 Sunday 12/18 was 21 inches. Impact was snow removal.

CZST reports a total of 18 cm (7 inches) in observations on 2/5. Hyder Post office estimated 4-6 inches at 1000 on 2/5. This new snow occurred in the early morning hours. No damage reported.

An overrunning snow event occurred with arctic air over the interior valley near Hyder. Based on observations of the Canadian station at Stewart, BC an estimated 12 inches of snow fell in the vicinity of Hyder from early on the 2/7 through that evening.
