Heavy snowfall reports from southern Schoolcraft County included 7.5 inches at Parent Bay, 5 to 7 inches in the Manistique area and 4 inches near Cooks. Wet snowfall rates exceeding an inch per hour were reported during the event.

The observer in Parent Bay measured strong south winds through the period with a peak gust of 68 mph The observer's bird feeder was knocked down and his power was fluctuating.

Widespread freezing rain of 0.25 inches or more caused treacherous and icy road conditions, tree damage and widespread power outages during the period. Schools were cancelled on the 23rd due to the impacts from the freezing rain.

There was a Facebook report of 19 inches of lake enhanced snow in approximately eight hours three miles north of Highway US-2 in Cooks. The intense snow and poor visibility created dangerous driving conditions and closed a portion of Highway US-2 on the 12th.
